Java Sea Charters want to make sure you get most out of your trips; therefore our rates include unlimited diving on all trips. Some of the diving highlights include:

Krakatau Group
The active volcanic makes diving in this area unique. Deep cascading walls drop down to 50m, rich nutrients from the volcanic ash and clear waters combine to make some of the best diving in the region. This dive site Is suitable for all levels.

Ujung Kulon
Ujung Kulon’s diving spots include Pulau Badul with its very own Cecelia Ann reef, Handeuleum with large serene offshore shallows and a picturesque reef. Around Peucang Island there are several shallow spots and some exhilarating rock diving. Most of these dive sites are suitable for beginner divers.

Panaitan
Panaitan Island is relatively unknown among divers but is home to several stunning dive secrets, amongst which is the beautiful Karang Jajar, with thrilling steep rock drop-offs. It is home to several large pelagic species, and a very well preserved tugboat off its Northwestern coast with a spectacular entry into its engine room. We recommend these dive sites for advanced divers and above, as currents can be strong.

Perth and Houston Wrecks
The well preserved WWII battleships; The HMSA Perth and USS Houston are located around three miles apart. Due to the depth of the wrecks (35m) these sites are very popular with technical divers, nitrox divers and those with depth experience. Penetration of the wrecks is possible making an exhilarating exploration dive for some. Strong currents and low visibility can occur in the area, so we require guests to have an advanced certification.

Sangyang Island
This exotic marine reserve boasts a fantastic array of hard and soft coral gardens as well as cave diving. Located in the narrowest part of the Straits, currents sweep down the sides of the island providing rich nutrients that support a wonder land of marine life, including pelagic fish, turtles, moray eels, and the occasional reef shark. For all levels.

Sibuku Island
Great range of diving from well preserved hard coral fringing reefs, to deep water volcanic pinnacles, and even a WWII wreck to complete its portfolio of diving adventures. For all levels.

Pulau Seribu
This peaceful tropical atoll has been preserved in its original pristine state. Dives range from spectacular coral drop-offs to wrecks and include a wide variety marine life; colorful nudibranchs, cuttlefish, turtles, crocodilefish, and many more. For all levels
